This photo has a special story. As we were shooting this session, there happened to be a stranger that followed us up to the location. He told us of his journey, and that's it's been a hard one. He told us he came up to this location to feel peace and meditate. As I had envisioned this specific shot in my head, I did not know who were supposed to be the hands the Savior was reaching to. As I spoke of what I needed, the stranger spoke up and said,"Can I do it?". I will never forget this moment as this complete stranger was the missing piece to this masterpiece. Christ isn't wanting perfect people. He's reaching down for those who are struggling, who are in need of Him. He's pulling up those who are in the search of some sort of peace in this chaotic world. Keep reaching up, because He is ALWAYS there to lift us up.
